Sienna Plantation is the home to three on-site elementary schools (Sienna Crossing, Scanlan Oaks, and Jan Schiff) and Baines Middle School. A high school is currently in development within the community and is set to open in Fall 2010 but for the time being, students in grades 9-12 may attend Hightower High School and Elkins High School in Missouri City. Students may also attend the schools of the Fort Bend Independent School District. Campuses for Houston Community College, Houston Baptist University, and the University of Houston in Sugar Land are located nearby for students and adult learners who are looking to earn their college degree or certificate.
